TUTUKAKA THE PARADISE COAST
Prepare for something special when you visit the Tutukaka Coast
These islands, a safe haven marine reserve provides a unique range of flora, fauna and fishes in a dramatic setting and are regarded as one of the world's top five dive spots.

Tutukaka is the gateway to the Poor Knights Islands 14 miles off the coast. The waters off the Poor Knights are famous for big game fishing with The Whangerei Deep Sea Anglers Club displaying trophies for some of their world record catches.
The latest attraction is an artificial reef created by the sinking of the ex-naval ship 'The Navel Destroyer - Waikato', with all its weapons. Beyond Tutukaka is some of the most picturesque coastal scenery in the country - Matapouri, Woolleys Bay and Sandy Bay are popular beach and surf playgrounds.

Tutukaka, a safe, natural harbour with a modern marina, cafe, restaurants and bars, dive shops, charter boats and accommodation, provides excitment and pure pleasure in a sub tropical climate.
Schapper Rock Cafe is an island style cafe with beautiful scenic eating areas perfect with those hot sunny days.
